Hannes Haberl, Prof. Dr.

(Germany), Paediatric Neurosurgeon, Prof. Head Physician - Specialist Centre for Neurosurgery, Epilepsy Surgery, Spinal Surgery and Scoliosis

Neurosurgeon Professor Hannes Haberl is poised to deliver an insightful lecture at the IMC Curacao, focusing on the latest advancements in the early treatment of cerebral palsy. After completing his specialist training in neurosurgery, he developed a keen interest in treating children requiring neurosurgical intervention. Given that such innovative specialization was not yet available in Germany at that time, he dedicated years to mastering specialized techniques for pediatric operations, first in France and later in the USA under the mentorship of Dr. Park.

As he brings his expertise to Germany—where he has established these techniques over his years of work at esteemed institutions like the Charité Berlin and the University of Bonn, and more recently in Vogtareuth—his role as the director of Move, the Center for Early Multidisciplinary Intervention in Spastic Cerebral Palsy, is expected to lead to significant advancements in patient care. This upcoming lecture is highly anticipated and will surely shed light on the promising future of early interventions in treating cerebral palsy.
