Located within walking distance of the Renaissance Hotel and Marriott Courtyard, you'll find a variety of interesting places to explore. The Kura Hulanda Museum offers a powerful look into the history of the transatlantic slave trade and African culture. Just outside, Kura Hulanda Plein is a cozy square surrounded by historic buildings, restaurants, and shops. A short walk away, the Scharloo district stands out with its colorful street art and beautifully restored mansions. Don’t miss the iconic Pontjesbrug (Queen Emma Bridge), a floating pedestrian bridge that connects the lively neighborhoods of Punda and Otrobanda, both full of charm, history, and local flavor. At night, the bridge is beautifully lit with colorful lights, creating a magical atmosphere. For a bit of nature, Mangrove Park offers peaceful walking trails and the option to kayak through the serene mangrove forest.

Christoffel Park

The Christoffel Park is the national park of Curacao, harboring a rich variety of local flora and fauna. Visit the park and enjoy the beautiful nature and outdoor activities. You can also climb the 372 meter high Christoffel mountain. NOTE: Mountain climbing is possible between 6 AM - 10 AM. No admission to the mountain after 10 AM. Daily tours and activities are being organised in the Christoffel Park.

Hato Caves

The Hato Caves are one of Curaçao’s most impressive natural wonders. Formed from ancient coral limestone, these caves feature dramatic stalactites, underground pools, and even ancient petroglyphs left by the island’s earliest inhabitants. Guided tours take you through the cool, mysterious chambers while sharing stories about their history, geology, and legends. The caves are easily accessible with stairs and walkways, making it a great activity for all ages.

Klein Curaçao

Just 25 kilometers off the southeastern coast of Curaçao lies Klein Curaçao, a small, uninhabited island known for its untouched beauty and tranquil ambiance. This hidden gem is a paradise for adventurers and relaxation seekers alike. Boasting powdery white sand beaches, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and vibrant coral reefs, Klein Curaçao offers an escape into a pristine Caribbean wonderland.

Sheta Boka

Shete Boka National Park, located on the rugged north coast of Curaçao, is famous for its dramatic landscape, crashing waves, and hidden sea caves. Its name, meaning “Seven Inlets,” refers to the series of natural coves where the ocean forcefully meets the rocky shore — most strikingly at Boka Pistol, where waves shoot high into the air like a blast from a cannon. Visitors can explore the park by car or on foot, following trails that lead to sea caves, scenic clifftops, and sea turtle nesting sites. It’s an ideal destination for nature enthusiasts, photographers, and anyone eager to discover the wild beauty of the island.

Sea Aquarium

The Curaçao Sea Aquarium belongs to one of the most unique aquaria in the world. The reason being that, from the very beginning of the aquarium in 1984, the Sea Aquarium managed to create natural habitats for all its marine creatures without using sophisticated technical equipment. Due to an open-watersystem all the aquaria are in immediate contact with the open sea.

Aloë Vera Plantation

The Aloe Vera Plantation in Curaçao offers a peaceful and educational stop where visitors can learn about the many uses of this healing plant. Located in a quiet, natural setting, the plantation shows how aloe is grown, harvested, and processed into skincare and wellness products. You can take a short tour, try samples, and browse the on-site shop for locally made creams, gels, and soaps. It’s a relaxing and refreshing experience, perfect for a short break from the beach or city.

Ostrich Farm

The Curaçao Ostrich Farm offers a fun and unique experience for the whole family. Just a short drive from Willemstad, the farm gives you the chance to get up close with one of the world’s largest birds. Take a guided safari tour to learn more about ostriches, feed them. The farm also has emus, peacocks, and other animals, plus a restaurant and souvenir shop with locally made products.

Horse Riding

Criadero Chayen Clément is a welcoming horse ranch where you can experience Curaçao’s natural beauty on horseback. With guided rides through scenic trails and open landscapes, it’s a fun and peaceful way to explore the island. Suitable for all experience levels, this activity offers a unique connection to nature and local life.

Flamingo's

Just off the road near the village of Sint Willibrordus, you’ll find a quiet salt flat where wild flamingos gather in their natural habitat. This peaceful sanctuary offers a great photo opportunity and a chance to observe these elegant birds from a distance. There are no entrance fees or tours — just pull over, take in the view, and enjoy a quiet moment with nature. Please make sure to lock your car and avoid leaving any valuables inside, as break-ins can occur.

IMCC Restaurant Collaborations

Curaçao is famous for its beautiful beaches, each offering something special for every visitor. Whether you’re looking to relax in the sun, snorkel with turtles, or explore hidden caves, the island’s west coast has it all.

Start with Grote Knip and Kleine Knip, two stunning beaches known for their crystal-clear waters and relaxed vibe — perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and enjoying local snacks from nearby kiosks. If you want to swim alongside sea turtles, head over to Playa Lagun or Playa Grandi.

For a unique experience, visit Tugboat Beach, where you can snorkel around a sunken tugboat, or explore the mysterious Blue Room Cave, famous for its glowing blue waters inside the cave. Some spots, like Tugboat, Kokomo and Playa Kalki, are also great for diving, with colorful reefs and marine life waiting just below the surface.

If you’re up for some beachside fun with a twist, Playa Porto Marie offers a chance to spot friendly pigs. Meanwhile, Daaibooi Beach is a popular spot for families and locals, with calm waters and great facilities.

Finally, don’t miss Cas Abao Beach, a true tropical paradise. Soft white sand meets clear turquoise waters, framed by swaying palm trees and rugged cliffs — a picture-perfect spot to relax or snorkel.

IMPORTANT TIP: While visiting the beaches, always lock your car and avoid leaving valuables inside or in plain sight. Although most areas are safe, theft can occur — it's best to take your belongings with you or keep them well out of view to enjoy a worry-free day.
